My approach

There are many reasons that might motivate someone to seek psychiatric care, whether that’s a significant life stressor, relationship difficulty, desiring change in areas of stagnancy, or lifelong patterns of depression or anxiety. I take an integrated, whole-person perspective with my patients. I strive to offer a warm, open, and thoughtful approach in all of my sessions. My training includes medication management as well as various modalities of psychotherapy including psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am a strong proponent of therapy and consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in this process of discovery and growth. I also believe that medications, when indicated, can be crucial. Often, people find that medication can complement and bolster the work they are doing in therapy. Together, we will tailor an individualized treatment plan that best fits your needs, values, and goals.
